One day she returned to the cave to find Adam sitting in the bean bag chair, grinning at her. He was the only person in the world other than she who knew where the cave was, and she was completely okay with him knowing. She trusted him more than anybody else. For most of the night Elly and Adam whispered secrets to each other and tickled each other and made shadow puppets with their fingers in the glow of the candles.
